Celebrities and music artists to descend on London for the FIFA eWorld Cup™ Grand Final

A line-up of celebrities and music talent will arrive in London next month to perform live at The O2 during The Final Showdown Day of the FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final.

Taking place at The O2 on 4 August 2018, The Final Showdown Day will be the exciting conclusion of the FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final at The O2 in London and will see some of the world’s best competitive FIFA gamers battle it out to become FIFA eWorld Cup champion, as well as the chance to win a life-changing US$250,000 and an exclusive invitation to The Best FIFA Football Awards™.

In addition to the semi-finals and the two final matches taking place on Saturday 4 August, ticket holders and members of the public attending The Final Showdown will also get the chance to witness a special celebrity tournament involving football stars and familiar faces of the FIFA scene such as UK-based YouTuber Bateson87 and most-followed FIFA Twitch streamer Castro1021, as well as a performance by global multi-million streaming musical artist, Zak Abel.

The English singer-songwriter will take the centre stage of The O2 for the very first time, giving fans a live show including his hit songs, as well as testing his skills on the console playing FIFA right before the big matches.

Speaking about his participation at the FIFA eWorld Cup, Zak Abel said:

“I couldn’t be more excited to be attending the FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final. Playing in such an iconic venue as The O2 is a dream come true. Additionally, being able to witness the world’s best FIFA 18 players in The Final Showdown and testing my own skills against the famous faces of the scene will be an incredible event and unbelievable experience.“

Other top celebrities from the FIFA scene will also be making appearances at the event including Spencer FC, ChuBoi, SKY Sports host Laura Woods and the English commentator teams Leigh Smith and Joe Miller as well as Richard Buckley and Brandon Smith. The commentators for the main broadcast will also be joined by a German and Spanish speaking team. The Final Showdown day for the FIFA eWorld Cup is proving to get more and more exciting as we get closer. The list of celebrities continues to grow with more names set to be announced in the coming weeks.
